I have many years of experience working with children.  I volunteered at Childline over 15 years ago, offering a weekly telephone shift to children seeking this help.  This counselling took place over the telephone, email, and instant messenger.

 

Since then my work has taken me to schools, I have nearly ten years of experience working in schools teaching psychoeducation and mindfulness in many different schools in the Sevenoaks area.  After my counselling qualification, I returned to working in schools volunteering with Place2Be.    I have since completed a Level 5 qualification with Place2Be specialising in working therapeutically with children in schools.   My Place2Be training also encompassed brief focused solution counselling and running drop-in lunchtime sessions as well as longer-term 1 to 1 work.
